BLUE WORM

Blue Worm draws on the creative concept of the “exquisite corpse” among the artists to create an audiovisual essay that ceaselessly explores the concept of the double. Identity is transmuted and projected in a continuous unfolding in which the two artists are morphed by Artificial Intelligence, generating a performative dialogue between the self and the other: a tale of doubles. This looping single-channel work extends and projects itself onto the sculptural physicality of the authors’ facial imprints, transformed into golden death masks, creating a singular line that magnifies the interplay of appearances and sublimates the possibility of a sacred mythical narrative.
