Transcendental (2023) is a video essay coordinated by Iluminada Gonzalez during a arts-based educational research. The result of combining various videos created by students at IES Cartuja—which reflect their visual interests and concerns—in a sort of exploration of alternative ways of being through the visual medium. This a/r/tography film invites viewers to reflect on the power of the video essay and AI as a medium of expression, and to witness the talent of emerging artists.
